Oakland ASA is one of 92 Local Associations that make up the
Amateur
Softball Association of America. The geographical area under the auspices
of Oakland ASA includes all of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. | |

The ASA is recognized by the United State Olympic Committee (USOC)
as the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of softball in the United States.
No other national organization can make that claim. ASA takes its responsibility
as the NGB very seriously and is dedicated to continue to promote, develop and
foster the great game of softball.
